IHG is offering its select members an opportunity to earn up to 50,000 bonus points for staying at participating IHG properties.

This is a targeted offer. You should have received an email inviting you to register for the promotion.

‘Step Up to Rewards’ offer

This is a tiered offer. The number of points you will earn grows with the number of nights you stay at participating IHG properties during the promotion period.

If you have already registered for the promotion, you can check the number of reward points you can earn.

Total Nights Bonus Points
2 or 3 nights 4,000 points
4 or 5 nights 7,000 points
6 to 9 nights 10,000 points
10 to 19 nights 20,000 points
20 or more nights 50,000 points

The offer is available for stays between 1 April 2022 and 17 May 2022 (after you have registered for the offer).

IHG requires a minimum average spend of $30 per night (pre-tax) to be considered as valid for any promotion.

Conclusion

Given that we only have a month and a half to stay 20 nights (to fully utilize the promotion), not too many people would be able to benefit from this.

However, given the tiered nature of the promotion, it’s easy to earn some bonus points at least.
