IHG has launched at least two new targeted offers for its IHG One Rewards members. We are aware of 2 such promotions. Since these are targeted promotions, there may be more such offers out there.
The first offer, dubbed the ‘8K4N’ promotion, allows you to earn 8000 bonus points for every 4-night spent at participating IHG hotels and resorts. You can read more about the promotion here.
The second deal, known as the ‘2K2N’ promotion, enables you to garner 2000 points for every 2-night stay at IHG properties across the globe. You can read more about this promotion here.
Both promotions are valid for stays from February 1st, 2024 until March 31st, 2024. Even though IHG has not explicitly clarified in the terms, typically in case of such promotions, the nights don’t have to be consecutive or at the same hotel.
Note that you can’t sign up for both offers. You need to check your inbox to see which promotion was sent to you.
The standard eligibility criteria that apply to most IHG promotions are applicable here as well. To qualify under these promotions, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate with an overall expenditure exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) per night.
Notably, stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not eligible for these promotions. Additionally, bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as Agoda or Expedia do not qualify either.
It should be noted that the bonus points earned through these promotions do not contribute towards Elite status qualification under the IHG One Rewards program.
These targeted offers by IHG could prove beneficial to frequent travelers and loyal members of their rewards program looking to accumulate points during their travels.
