Raipur’s branded hotel options are set to grow, with announced projects from IHG, Hilton, IHCL and Lemon Tree. Some are planned for the existing city, while others are coming to Nava Raipur, also known as Naya Raipur or Atal Nagar.
If you travel to Raipur regularly, the additions could give you more choices for business trips, family visits and points-earning stays. But a hotel signing isn’t an opening announcement: several projects don’t yet have a confirmed opening date.
Hotel Brands Already in Raipur
You already have international-chain options such as Courtyard by Marriott Raipur and Hyatt Raipur. The wider Raipur area also has established Indian hospitality names, including Sayaji Raipur and MAYFAIR Lake Resort in the Nava Raipur area.
The new projects would broaden that mix. Location will matter as much as the brand, particularly if your meetings or events are in Nava Raipur rather than the existing city.
Holiday Inn Raipur, Nava Raipur
IHG has signed a 156-room Holiday Inn Raipur in Sector 24, Nava Raipur, with an opening planned for the first quarter of 2031.
The hotel is being developed with Entry Point Hotels & Resorts Private Limited. Plans include restaurants and a bar, meeting and event spaces, a swimming pool and a fitness centre.
Its location is intended to serve government, institutional and business demand around Nava Raipur. For IHG One Rewards members, it would add a familiar option to the market—but this is a longer-term project, not a hotel to plan your next trip around.
Hampton by Hilton Raipur
The Hilton news is specifically about Hampton by Hilton, rather than a hotel carrying the flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand.
Hilton announced the Raipur project in December 2025, as part of five Hampton hotel signings with NILE Hospitality. The announcement said the five hotels were expected to open within the following two years, but didn’t provide a separate confirmed opening date or room count for Raipur.
Hampton is positioned as an upper-midscale option. Hilton’s India plans for the brand include complimentary breakfast, fitness centres and food offerings adapted for Indian travelers. It would also give Hilton Honors members an option in Raipur once it opens.
Gateway Raipur
IHCL announced a 151-room Gateway hotel in Raipur in August 2026, in partnership with KLA Group.
The greenfield project is planned with an all-day restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a gym and a spa. The announcement also includes more than 10,000 square feet of banquet space, along with meeting rooms.
A confirmed opening date wasn’t given in the announcement.
Ginger Raipur and Ginger Nava Raipur
IHCL has separately announced Ginger projects in Raipur and Nava Raipur.
Ginger Raipur was announced in November 2024 as a 120-room hotel within a mixed-use development on GE Road, the Mumbai–Kolkata national highway. Planned facilities include Qmin dining, a fitness centre and meeting spaces.
Ginger Nava Raipur was announced in September 2026 as a 111-room brownfield project with ECHT Ventures. Plans include Qmin, meeting facilities and a fitness centre.
These are separate announcements, not two names for the same hotel. Neither announcement provides a confirmed opening date.
Lemon Tree Premier Raipur
Lemon Tree announced the signing of Lemon Tree Premier Raipur in April 2026.
The planned hotel has 78 rooms, with a restaurant, banquet and conference facilities, a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness centre. The announcement places it approximately 7 kilometres from Raipur airport and 9 kilometres from the railway station.
Carnation Hotels, Lemon Tree’s management subsidiary, will operate the property. The signing announcement doesn’t specify an opening date.
Taj Raipur: An Earlier Announcement
IHCL announced Taj Raipur in March 2023 as a 152-room brownfield project with Krish (Raipur) Hotels, part of Vyapak Group.
The announced location is on the Atal Path Expressway, connecting Raipur with Nava Raipur, a short drive from the airport. Plans included restaurants, substantial banqueting facilities, a spa and a swimming pool.
This is an older signing announcement, and we haven’t verified a current opening date or operating status. It’s worth keeping separate from the newer signings rather than treating it as a confirmed imminent opening.
What Happened to Radisson Raipur?
Radisson announced a 130-room Radisson Hotel Raipur in 2023, on the road connecting Raipur and Nava Raipur. At the time, it projected an opening in the fourth quarter of 2025.
That was an announced target, not confirmation that the hotel opened. We haven’t verified a revised opening date or the project’s current status, so it shouldn’t be treated as a confirmed upcoming opening with a firm timeline.
More Choice, but Check the Opening Status
The announced pipeline would add options across several price points, from Ginger and Hampton to Gateway and Taj, alongside the longer-term Holiday Inn project.
For now, keep the distinction between a signed project, a planned opening and a hotel accepting bookings. Before making travel plans, check the brand’s booking site for your dates—and make sure the hotel’s location suits the part of Raipur you need to visit.
