If you’re planning a Dubai holiday or a stopover of at least 24 hours, Emirates’ Mile-A-Minute promotion can add up to 7,200 bonus Skywards Miles to your trip. You’ll need to register and book an eligible Emirates or flydubai return ticket by 5 November 2026, and complete your journey by 13 December 2026.
You can register for the promotion here.
The offer is for Skywards members who live outside the UAE. Tickets booked before 21 October 2026 don’t qualify, so this isn’t a bonus you can add to an older booking.
How the bonus works
You earn one bonus Skywards Mile for every minute in Dubai, calculated using the scheduled arrival and departure times on your ticket.
That works out to:
- 24 hours: 1,440 bonus miles.
- Three days: 4,320 bonus miles.
- Five days: the maximum 7,200 bonus miles.
Your stay must be at least 24 hours and no longer than 30 days. Although longer stays qualify, the bonus stops growing after five days.
What qualifies?
You must register by 11:59pm Dubai time on 5 November 2026. Your ticket must also be booked and issued between 21 October and 5 November 2026, and the entire eligible journey must fall within 21 October–13 December 2026.
Eligible bookings include Emirates’ Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus fares across all cabins, plus flydubai’s Economy Lite, Value and Flex fares and Business Class. The ticket must qualify for normal Skywards mileage earning; reward tickets won’t qualify.
You can book directly or through a travel agent. Flights must carry an EK or FZ flight number and be operated by Emirates or flydubai. Other codeshare and interline flights are excluded.
One-way fares are excluded, as are tickets issued in the UAE or journeys originating there.
A few limits worth knowing
The bonus is awarded once per member, for the first eligible Dubai stay, and should arrive within 30 days of completing that stay.
It’s additional to your normal flight miles, but don’t assume it stacks with another promotion: if you qualify for another bonus offer, Emirates says it will credit only the higher eligible bonus.
For a Dubai trip you were already considering, this is a useful extra—especially since travel-agent bookings qualify too. But compare the total airfare before choosing Emirates or flydubai for the bonus, and there’s no mileage reason to extend your stay beyond five days.
