Sometimes it’s worth buying points. Most of the time it isn’t. However, if you are in need of some extra Hilton Honors points, these promotions do make it attractive.
You can buy Hilton Honors points directly via buy points page in your Hilton Honors account area.

Offer is available for any number of points above 5000 (in multiples of 1000).
Is it worth buying Hilton Honors points?
Well, it depends. If you regularly redeem Hilton Honors points and are falling short of some points for a booking, a buy point promotion is the best purchase window you can get.
If you just want to collect points because they are cheap, I am not sure if that’s a good idea. In my experience, you should only buy points if you have a clear use for them in immediate future.

However, this might not be true in every situation.
Will your purchased Hilton Honors points expire?
Yes and No.
There is no specific expiry or validity for purchased Hilton Honors points. However, all Hilton Honors points expire after 15 months of inactivity in your account.
Fortunately, it’s pretty simple to extend the validity of your Hilton Honors points.
It’s not easy to decide whether you need to buy points or skip the promotion. My advice - if you are not sure, don’t buy.
Remember it’s not just about the points required for redemption, you also end up losing points you would have earned while paying cash.
