What’s better than a free night at a new hotel, booked with points? A free night at a new hotel, booked with fewer points.

For a limited time, IHG is offering a discount of 15% on award bookings. This discount is applicable only for new and newly renovated IHG properties.

Unlike the discounted award booking for elites, this promotion is open to all members, irrespective of your elite status with IHG.

This offer is available for stays booked and completed by September 30th, 2024.

Applicable to ‘Points + Cash’ bookings as well.

In case you are planning to use points plus cash for the booking, you will save 15% on points, as well as the cash part.

Cannot be used with 4th night free benefit.

IHG clearly states that this offer cannot be combined with the 4th night free benefit that comes with IHG Credit Cards in the US.

If you try to book 4 nights as a cardholder, you will get the 4th night free benefit (25% less points), but not the 15% promo discount. If you are booking 3 or fewer nights, you will get 15% off.

In case you are booking 5 or more nights, better to split the booking to get 25% on the first 4 nights, and 15% on the remaining nights.
