Wyndham Rewards will be moving to a two-factor authentication system soon. This move, aimed at enhancing account security and preventing theft of points and miles, may result in you being locked out of your account if the details associated with it are incorrect.

They have been actively sending reminders via email to verify your phone numbers and email addresses linked to your account.

I cannot stress enough how crucial it is to complete this step immediately.

Two-factor authentication systems offer an additional layer of security by requiring users to enter a one-time password (OTP) during login. This OTP would be sent primarily to the email address or phone number registered with your account.

In case the phone number or email address associated with your account is no longer valid or incorrect, there’s a risk that you might be locked out of your account once the two-factor authentication system is implemented. This could potentially disrupt access to your accumulated points and benefits.
