It’s important to note that transferring points between loyalty programs may not always be the best value. Even with a bonus, it’s likely that your points will be worth more in their original program.
However, there are some cases where this offer may make sense – for example if your miles are expiring or if you are looking to exit an airline loyalty program (happens when airline service is no longer worth your loyalty). Or if you have far too many air miles and would like to diversify.
