Points plus cash booking is seldom a good idea. However, at times, points and cash can offer excellent value for longer stays. Even better if there is a sale on such bookings.

You need to book by July 19th, 2023, for stays until 31st August 2023. The 15% discount is offered at the time of booking and only applies to the cash portion of the booking.

Note that when you cancel a points plus cash booking, you get your refund in points only. There is no cash refund. In effect, you are just purchasing the points you are falling short of during a points plus cash booking. Fortunately, the cash portion for such bookings with IHG is generally very reasonable.
