IHG offers a range of dining rewards to IHG One Rewards members, providing discounts, and the opportunity to earn points at restaurants in their hotels and resorts in several countries worldwide.
What sets these dining programs apart is that you can benefit from them without actually staying at an IHG property.
However, IHG does not have a single, global dining rewards program. Instead, it offers various region-specific programs, each with its unique benefits and discounts.
The three most prominent ones are:
- IHG One Rewards Dine & Earn Program in the US.
- IHG Dining Deals program in the Middle East, Africa, India, and South Asia.
- IHG Dining Privileges in Southeast Asia.
IHG One Rewards Dine & Earn Program in the US.
The US-based IHG One Rewards Dine & Earn Program allows customers to earn up to 8 IHG One Reward points per $1 spent when dining at participating restaurants across the country.
This applies to dine-in, home delivery, and takeaway orders.
Note that this program is in collaboration with OpenTable. Thus, it’s not restricted to restaurants at IHG hotels and resorts only. The bonus points can be earned at all participating restaurants.
To participate in the program, customers are required to register with their IHG One Rewards number and link a debit or credit card to their account. This enables them to earn points whenever they dine at any participating restaurant and use any of the registered cards to pay.
New users can also bag an additional 1000 bonus points on joining.
IHG Dining Deals program in the Middle East, Africa, India, and South Asia.
In the Middle East, Africa, India, and South Asia, you can save up to 30% on dining, as well as earn reward points through the IHG Dining Deals program.
The discount available to you depends on your IHG One Rewards elite status.

Unlike the Dine and Earn in the US, this program is applicable only at participating restaurants on IHG hotels and resorts.
The discount applies for up to 8 people dining per member per meal per bill, including the Rewards Member. Each meal per bill can only utilize one membership. The member must stay for the duration of the meal and personally pay the bill.
The discount should be applied when paying the bill, and it cannot be retrospectively added or processed through other hotel outlets or areas.
If you are staying at the hotel or resort, you need to charge your food and beverage expenses to your room folio to earn IHG One Rewards points.
IHG Dining Privileges in Southeast Asia.
With IHG Dining Privileges, you can get a discount of 20%, and earn 100 points per USD $10 spent at participating restaurants in Southeast Asia. The discount is fixed for all IHG One Rewards members, irrespective of their elite status.
IHG Dining Privileges is available at participating restaurants in Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
