IHG is once again kicking off the new year with a global promotion. Starting the 1st of January 2024, you have the opportunity to earn double points on all your stays at participating IHG hotels and resorts for the entire month.

This promotion is valid for stays between January 1st, 2024, and January 31st, 2024. Apart from 2x points, IHG members in the US can earn an additional 2000 bonus points for staying at 2 different IHG brands during the promotion period.
Once registered, there’s no upper limit to the number of 2x points you can earn, as long as your stays are considered qualifying stays. Most paid stays that are booked directly with IHG will be eligible for points. However, please note that IHG requires an average invoice of $30 per room per night to qualify for promotions.
You should be able to combine this 2x promotion with the Stay 5 Get 1 night offer.
It’s important to mention that this promotion is not targeted and is available to all active and valid IHG One Rewards members.

Good to know
- For purposes of the Promotion, a ‘Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay’ is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding US $30 (or local currency equivalent) for each night.
- Qualifying Rates include most business and leisure rates, such as Advanced Purchase rates, Best Flexible rates, Global sales negotiated rates (including but not limited to Corporate Gold rates), national/regional/local government rates and specified leisure rates as confirmed by IHG’s reservation systems. In Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Greater China hotels and resorts, Qualifying Rates include all locally negotiated rates.
- Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts, with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels Resorts Spas and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that do not participate in IHG One Rewards.
- Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash, and bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking or expedia, are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for the purposes of this Promotion.
